I have been taking care of children for so long that I have it down to a science and everyone is extremely happy, productive and safe here. 
 
MY PHILOSOPHY encompases the fact that they are very little people who are new to the world and require a lot of love and attention.  They get that here with me.  They know that they can rely on me and know where to come for comfort, assisitance, help and hugs. I am not their parent yet I am someone they can count on.

Being here in a small-group situation, they are acquiring the skills to enter a bigger  "group-setting" without trauma.  It is a loving practice experience for their next step.  I believe it creates a very good foundation for their future.  My children leave very confidant and ready to enter the next phase.

Something to consider as an added bonus...this intimate setting gives the children an oportunity to experience having "sisters and brothers" that they may or may not have the chance to have in their lives.  This opportunity prepares them for future siblings as well as helping them learn to create bonds for future friendships.  Many of my children start creating those bonds right here at Miss Mary Lou's.
